ABOUT SAD SOCKET

Founded by Andre Young and Rafael Melo, Sad Socket is an emerging indie game publisher based in São Paulo and NYC with 300k+ game copies sold.

Before publishers, we are game devs ourselves. Half a decade ago, Andre became a reference in the LATAM indie game community, creating of the biggest Game Jam in Brazil (Game Jaaj) and sustaining a Youtube career with 1M+ subscribers. His first experimental game, Seraph's Last Stand, sold over 200k copies on Steam and consoles. As a dev, he is currently leading the Knights of Fresco team.

Rafael is a creative director with background in film, music, and advertising that always dreamed about making games. Having worked with some of the biggest companies in the world, and receiving accolades from Cannes Lions to Guinness World Records, he now uses what he learned in the creative industry to make games. His main focus is on the triple I segment of Sad Socket, currently leading the production of titles like Ending Tau.

We are small team holding a limited roster of independent games. Our main goal is not profit, but to bring ideas we are passionate about to life. Sounds like BS, but it's true.
